For the third time after 2019 and 2020, the 2-day congress presented in 2022 outstanding results from the application-oriented technology programs of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection in the funding area “Development of Digital Technologies” – in expert forums and panel discussions as well as a large exhibition area.

We as the PAIRS team, together with our partners, had the opportunity to present ourselves at our booth to the approximately 600 stakeholders from business, research and politics, to do networking together and to inform interested visitors about our project progress.

Three keynotes also addressed central issues of digitization from a European perspective, in the area of data protection and security, and on the topic of quantum computing. The keynote by Dr. Lucilla Sioli, Director of Directorate CONNECT.A “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Industry”, was very relevant for our PAIRS project and our Data Space for Resilience and Sustainability, as these topics play a major role in the European political agenda and as value drivers.

The event also gave us the opportunity to participate in the panel discussion on crisis management, represented by Jürgen Bretfeld, Managing Director of Advaneo GmbH, which is the consortium leader of the PAIRS project.
